NEET 2025 Cut Off for Ayurveda (BAMS): What You Need to Know
The NEET 2025 cut-off marks are the minimum qualifying scores required for students seeking admission into medical and AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) courses across India. This year, due to a drop in overall performance and reduced qualifying numbers, the cut-off has decreased slightly across all categories.
For BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), the qualifying marks for the General category stood at 144 marks (50th percentile), while for SC/ST/OBC, the qualifying score was 113 marks (40th percentile). Candidates with PwD status had slightly lower cut-off marks, depending on their category.
Admission into government BAMS colleges typically requires 155–164 marks for General candidates and 125–155 marks for reserved categories. The All India Rank (AIR) for BAMS seats in reputed government colleges generally ranges from 10,000 to 35,000, depending on the state and college reputation.
With the increasing demand for AYUSH education and the comparatively lower competition than MBBS, BAMS has become a preferred option for students scoring between 130 to 160 marks. Candidates are advised to participate in All India and State AYUSH Counselling to secure seats based on their ranks and category.
